Waldron School took a day trip to Decatur Island to attend the first small schools gathering of the year with Decatur and Shaw Schools. Shona Aitken, Education Coordinator at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Friday Harbor, gave two hands-on presentations, on birds and mammals in the San Juans. Students from the three schools enjoyed playing together at recess and meeting friends old and new.
